A sophisticated, no-cook Halloween charcuterie board featuring aged gouda, blue cheese, brie, spicy soppressata, prosciutto, and spooky garnishes. Perfect for adult gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz aged gouda
  • 4 oz blue cheese (gorgonzola or stilton)
  • 8 oz triple-cream brie
  • 6 oz spicy soppressata
  • 4 oz prosciutto
  • 4 oz duck or chicken liver pâté (optional)
  • 1/2 cup fig jam or red wine jelly
  • Honey (for drizzling)
  • 1 cup spiced nuts
  • 1/2 cup dark chocolate-covered almonds or espresso beans
  • 1 small crusty baguette
  • 1 box pumpkin seed & rosemary crackers
  • 1 cup black or purple grapes
  • 1/2 cup dried figs or dates
  • Fresh rosemary sprigs
  • 1/2 cup black olives (kalamata or niçoise)
  • Edible flowers (optional)
  • Plastic spiders & cobwebs (food-safe)

Instructions

  1. Place your board on a clean, flat surface. Position small bowls or ramekins for fig jam, honey, spiced nuts, and olives to create structure.
  2. Place wedges of gouda, blue cheese, and brie on the board, spacing them evenly. Optionally slice some gouda in advance and fan out.
  3. Fold prosciutto slices into loose ribbons and tuck next to the brie. Fan out soppressata slices near the gouda. Place pâté in a ramekin or small log near crackers.
  4. Fill empty spaces with crackers and baguette slices in clusters. Add grapes, dried figs, and dark chocolate almonds in small groups.
  5. Drizzle honey over brie and blue cheese. Tuck rosemary sprigs around the board. Scatter black olives. Place plastic spiders and cobwebs strategically.
  6. Step back and check for balance. Add more crackers or grapes if needed to fill large empty spaces.

Notes

Take cheeses and pâté out of refrigerator 30-45 minutes before serving for best flavor. Don’t overcrowd the board; use a second board if needed. Always have small plates and napkins nearby.
