A quick and easy Halloween punch that looks like a bubbling witches brew with an electric green color. Made with simple ingredients and ready in under 10 minutes, it’s perfect for parties and guaranteed to impress both kids and adults.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 (64-ounce) bottle white grape juice, chilled
  • 1 (46-ounce) can pineapple juice, chilled
  • 1/2 cup fresh lime juice (about 4–5 limes)
  • 1 (2-liter) bottle lemon-lime soda (like Sprite or 7-Up), chilled
  • 10–15 drops neon green food coloring
  • 1 (1-liter) bottle club soda or seltzer water, chilled
  • 1 cup frozen limeade concentrate, thawed slightly (optional)
  • 1 (1-pound) bag frozen pineapple chunks (optional)
  • A few drops peppermint extract (optional)

Instructions

  1. Chill all ingredients (white grape juice, pineapple juice, lemon-lime soda, and club soda) thoroughly, preferably overnight.
  2. In a large punch bowl or pitcher, combine the chilled white grape juice and chilled pineapple juice. Stir gently.
  3. Squeeze fresh lime juice into the bowl, catching any seeds. Stir well to combine.
  4. In a small bowl or glass, mix about 10 drops of neon green food coloring with 1/4 cup of the juice mixture until dissolved. Pour this concentrated green mixture back into the main punch bowl and stir. Add more drops if needed for a vibrant color.
  5. If using, add the frozen limeade concentrate and stir until mostly incorporated. Add frozen pineapple chunks (they will float).
  6. Just before serving, slowly pour in the lemon-lime soda and club soda. Gently stir once or twice to preserve carbonation.
  7. Serve immediately in cups or glasses. For a spooky effect, you can add a small piece of dry ice to the punch bowl with extreme caution (see notes).

Notes

For a spooky fog effect, you can add a small piece of food-grade dry ice to the bottom of the punch bowl. CRITICAL SAFETY NOTE: Never touch dry ice with bare hands; use tongs and gloves. Ensure it has completely sublimated before serving. Never put dry ice in individual glasses. To prevent dilution, make an ice ring using a bundt pan filled with some of the punch or water and lime slices, freeze overnight, and float in the bowl. For a glow-in-the-dark effect under blacklight, substitute tonic water for club soda.
