Quick and easy 10-minute caramel apple slices with crunchy toffee bits, perfect for after-school snacks or last-minute party platters. A simple, no-bake treat that kids and adults love.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 medium apples (Honeycrisp or Fuji recommended)
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce (store-bought or homemade, slightly warmed)
  • 1/4 cup crushed toffee bits (Heath bar bits recommended)
  • 1/4 cup mini chocolate chips (optional)
  • 1 pinch flaky sea salt (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Wash and dry apples. Cut into 1/4-inch thick slices (8-10 slices per apple). Remove seeds and core pieces.
  2. Place apple slices in a bowl with cold water and lemon juice. Soak for 2-3 minutes to prevent browning.
  3. Warm caramel sauce in a microwave-safe bowl for 10-15 seconds until pourable but not hot. Stir well.
  4. Measure toffee bits and chocolate chips into separate small bowls. Crush toffee bits if needed.
  5. Remove apple slices from lemon water and pat dry thoroughly with a clean towel.
  6. Arrange slices on a serving platter in a single layer, slightly overlapping if needed.
  7. Drizzle warm caramel over apple slices using a spoon or squeeze bottle.
  8. While caramel is still tacky, sprinkle toffee bits evenly over slices, followed by chocolate chips and sea salt if using.
  9. Serve immediately within 30 minutes for best texture.

Notes

Best served within 30 minutes. For make-ahead, slice apples and keep in lemon water, then assemble just before serving. Use dairy-free caramel and vegan chocolate chips for dairy-free version. Toffee bits can be substituted with crushed nuts or pretzels.
