A vibrant and easy-to-assemble charcuterie board featuring ripe stone fruits, a variety of cheeses, crunchy nuts, and natural honeycomb, perfect for summer entertaining.

Ingredients

  • Ripe peaches, sliced (firm but juicy)
  • Nectarines, halved and sliced
  • Plums, sliced (red or black)
  • Cherries, pitted and halved (optional)
  • Soft goat cheese
  • Aged cheddar, cubed or sliced
  • Manchego or mild blue cheese (optional)
  • Marcona almonds or toasted walnuts
  • Fresh herbs like mint or basil leaves
  • Artisan crackers or sliced baguette
  • Honeycomb (preferably local or raw)

Instructions

  1. Rinse all stone fruits under cool water and pat dry gently.
  2. Slice peaches and nectarines into wedges about 1/4 inch thick.
  3. Halve and slice plums similarly, and pit cherries if using.
  4. Arrange fruit slices on a cutting board as you go to keep them fresh and prevent browning.
  5. Cut the goat cheese into small, spreadable logs or crumbles.
  6. Slice the aged cheddar into bite-sized chunks or thin slices.
  7. If using Manchego or blue cheese, cut into smaller wedges.
  8. Place cheeses evenly spaced on your serving board, leaving room for the fruit and extras.
  9. Scatter Marcona almonds or toasted walnuts in small piles around the board.
  10. Tuck fresh mint or basil leaves between fruit clusters and cheese for bursts of color and freshness.
  11. Carefully cut a chunk of honeycomb into manageable pieces about 2 inches square.
  12. Arrange honeycomb pieces in a small bowl or directly on the board near the cheeses.
  13. Fan out artisan crackers or sliced baguette around the edges of the board or in a separate basket.
  14. Fill any empty spots with extra fruit slices or nuts.
  15. Optionally, drizzle a small amount of honey over some fruit or cheese for extra sweetness.
  16. Serve immediately at room temperature.

Notes

Slice fruit up to 1 hour ahead and toss with lemon juice to prevent browning. Keep honeycomb at room temperature for best texture. Use a sharp knife to avoid bruising fruit. Assemble board just before serving for freshness. For vegan option, substitute cheeses with nut-based or tofu cheeses and use gluten-free crackers if needed.
