Three-ingredient slow cooker kielbasa bites coated in a sweet and tangy grape jelly BBQ sauce. The perfect party appetizer that’s incredibly easy to make and always the first to disappear.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 pounds kielbasa sausage (smoked, fully cooked, sliced into ½-inch rounds)
  • 1 cup grape jelly (e.g., Welch’s or Smucker’s)
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce (e.g., Sweet Baby Ray’s or Kansas City-style)
  • Optional garnish: sliced green onions or sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. Slice the kielbasa into ½-inch thick rounds.
  2. Add the sliced kielbasa to the slow cooker. Add the grape jelly and BBQ sauce on top.
  3. Stir gently until the jelly and sauce start coating the sausage slices.
  4. Cook on low for 3-4 hours or on high for 1.5-2 hours.
  5. Stir halfway through cooking to ensure even coating.
  6. Once done, switch the slow cooker to the ‘warm’ setting until serving.
  7. Garnish with sliced green onions or sesame seeds if desired. Serve with toothpicks or small forks.

Notes

For best results, use a thick BBQ sauce. Stir halfway through cooking. Optional: sear kielbasa slices in a hot skillet before adding to the slow cooker for extra depth. Leftovers keep in the fridge for up to 4 days and freeze well for up to 3 months.
