A quick and easy Halloween punch made with orange sherbet and ginger ale, perfect for parties. This creamy, fizzy, and spooky drink is a crowd-pleaser that comes together in minutes.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 (2-liter) bottle ginger ale, chilled
  • 1 (64-ounce) carton orange juice, chilled
  • 1 (1.75-quart) container orange sherbet
  • 1 cup frozen orange juice concentrate (for ice cubes)
  • 1 cup frozen pineapple juice concentrate (optional, for ice cubes)
  • Gummy worms or gummy spiders (for garnish)
  • Plastic eyeballs (optional, for garnish)
  • Fresh orange slices or star fruit (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Prepare frozen juice cubes: Thaw orange juice concentrate just enough to pour. Spoon into ice cube trays and freeze solid (at least 4 hours or overnight). Repeat with pineapple concentrate if using.
  2. Chill ginger ale and orange juice in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.
  3. When ready to serve, place a clean punch bowl on the serving table. Place a towel or napkin underneath to catch condensation.
  4. Pour the chilled orange juice into the punch bowl. Slowly pour in the chilled ginger ale down the side of the bowl to preserve fizz.
  5. Add the frozen juice cubes to the punch bowl.
  6. Scoop large dollops of orange sherbet and gently drop them into the punch bowl. Do not stir; let the sherbet melt naturally.
  7. Add gummy worms, plastic eyeballs, and fresh fruit slices (if using) for garnish.
  8. Serve immediately with a ladle. Best enjoyed within the first hour.

Notes

Do not stir the punch; let the sherbet melt naturally for the best texture. Use frozen juice cubes instead of regular ice to avoid watering down the punch. Add sherbet just before serving to maintain fizz and creaminess. For a grown-up version, add 1 to 1.5 cups of vodka or white rum.
