This creamy buffalo chicken ranch dip is the perfect appetizer for game day or any gathering. It’s rich, tangy, and packed with crunchy celery, making it an irresistible crowd-pleaser.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • ½ cup ranch dressing
  • ⅓ cup buffalo hot sauce
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • 1 cup cooked chicken, shredded or finely chopped
  • ½ cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • ¼ cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 2 celery stalks, finely diced
  • 45 celery stalks, cut into 3-inch pieces (for dipping)
  • ¼ cup blue cheese crumbles (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh chives (optional)
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Dice the celery stalks into small, uniform pieces (about ¼ inch). Set the remaining celery stalks aside for serving.
  3. Shred the chicken using two forks or chop into small pieces.
  4. In a medium mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, ranch dressing, buffalo hot sauce, and sour cream. Mix until smooth and creamy.
  5. Fold in the shredded chicken, diced celery, cheddar cheese, and mozzarella cheese until evenly distributed.
  6. Transfer the mixture to an 8×8 baking dish or small oven-safe skillet, spreading it into an even layer.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes, until hot and bubbly around the edges and lightly golden on top.
  8. Let the dip rest for about 5 minutes before serving.
  9. Serve immediately with celery sticks and other dippers.

Notes

For best texture, ensure cream cheese is fully softened. Start checking dip at 18 minutes to avoid overcooking. For a browner top, broil for 1-2 minutes at the end. Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 4 days and taste even better the next day.
